In a time the world demolished separating walls,
We built castles with our hands
Sitting in boxes full of sand,
We didn’t care about systems breaking down,
Had our battlefields around down on the streets.
We celebrated every moment that we shared outside,
We went out to find those riddles mother earth prepared for us,
Sometimes whispering, sometimes laughing,
Sometimes peace and sometimes fight,
Always moving, never tired, catching fireflies at night
Expectations, explorations, contestations and frustrations
Beating, cheating, gambling, trembling, giving, taking, bones are breaking
Diddling, riddling, racing, facing, snatching, catching, hunting, climbing,
Falling, crawling, all of this starting in 1990!
Life went on for eighteen years and I was cutting my own ways,
But then you stepped into my life and you reminded me of those days,
Sharing shelter, sharing food, sharing luck and sharing pain,
Enjoying life staying together, old white Lincoln in our minds!
Expectations, explorations, contestations and frustrations
Beating, cheating, gambling, trembling, giving, taking, bones are breaking
Diddling, riddling, racing, facing, snatching, catching, hunting, climbing,
Falling, crawling, all of this starting in 1990!
